Obstetrics & Gynecology Opportunity in Southern New Hampshire
You'll step into a well-established women's health program where your work is supported by an experienced midwife and APP team. This is a full-spectrum Obstetrics & Gynecology role with a balanced mix of clinic, L&D support, and GYN surgery. Practice Overview
- You'll join an employed OB/GYN team alongside CNMs and APRNs in an integrated care model; midwives are first call for L&D
- Community hospital setting with ~400 deliveries/year, Level I nursery, and MFM support available via telehealth
- Full-spectrum opportunity: inpatient/outpatient OB, generalist GYN, and GYN surgery (robot available and optional)
- No newborn/nursery coverage-pediatrics handles rounding
Schedule
- Typical structure: ~32 patient-facing hours/week plus ~8 administrative hours
- Clinic days generally 8a-5p (14-16 patients/day); OR days typically 7a-5p with dedicated block time
- Call is shared equally among physicians; call shifts run 7a-7a with midwives taking first call/triage
- Post-call protection includes no scheduled OR; additional flexibility can be tailored with the team
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary starting at $377,000
- Sign-on bonus up to $20,000 and relocation assistance up to $15,000
- $200/hour for extra call or additional shifts; malpractice coverage includes tail
- Time off and benefits: 160 vacation hours (increasing with tenure), 6 paid federal holidays, CME (10 days + $6,000 every 2 years), retirement contributions/match, short-term disability premium covered, PSLF-eligible employer
Candidate Requirements
- BC/BE in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Open to 2026/2027 grads and experienced physicians
- Comfort with full-spectrum OB care, inpatient/outpatient practice, and GYN surgery (with support for appropriate referrals)
- Visa support options available, including H-1B and J-1 waiver pathways
