DIVISION DIRECTOR ACADEMIC SPECIALISTS IN OBGYN
Description
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology (OBGYN) at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) is seeking an outstanding academic generalist at the Associate or Full Professor level for Director, Division of General OBGYN. Division members provide the full breath of care in OBGYN (https://obgyn.mcw.edu/services/obgyn/). The department provides clinical care in all subspecialities within OBGYN and cares for patients in 12 diverse clinical settings associated with two quaternary and one tertiary care medical centers: Froedtert Hospital, Children’s Wisconsin, and Zablocki VA Medical Center. Many faculty hold leadership positions at MCW and associated institutions.
The successful candidate will be ABOG board certified in OBGYN and have demonstrated an excellent track record in academic OBGYN and passionate about mentorship and faculty development. In partnership with the Chair of the Department they will develop a comprehensive strategy and plan for the growth and development of the division's clinical, educational, research and community activities. Responsibilities include division administration, leading and promoting quality cost-effective initiatives, faculty development and practicing general OBGYN.
Mentorship, coaching and opportunities to advance professionally will be provided the successful candidate.
